Totally random thought, for those that know it, Fallout 4 although a major success in every right had one of the most lack luster main quest arcs in the entire series. A quest so forgettable, many players often do in fact forget about it doing it to completion. Hell I had to remind myself what the hell the point was when I was doing my first play through, and like many others found the twist to be kind of pointless. Could it have been interesting? Sure, its playing at the reverse end of "find your dad", its just not interesting or satisfying the way its all done. But what would make it not suck? How could you take the bones of what is there and make it better?
If you are not familiar with Fallout, feel free to make up whatever you want as well, god knows, it would probably be better written than by mr charge card himself Emil Pagliarulo.
