yeah yeah, it's played out. But I really did enjoy the last few stagops games there.
The terrain really did lend itself to airsoft.

I know the inability to use vehicles at the field was a downfall, but the inverse is you never had to deal with them.

I am a vehicle enjoyer (both from a vehicle crew perspective AND as a grenadier infantryman) but I will admit that Tolcom really had something going for it that I think a lot of people were taking for granted those last few events there.
I wear realtree camo because it's better for the environment. - Socrates

Its funny you say this, now the 3rd time in the past month someone has mentioned missing Tolcom's unique layout. I'm hoping to see some changes to help make they layout / area of play more interesting at Advanced in Granville, but will need to go through the proper channels first before anything is confirmed

The 2 (3?) times I played there I enjoyed the terrain and gameplay. It felt the right size for the current numbers of players we have for the bigger games. Spawns were far enough apart to be interesting, but also close enough that during the night game you could accidentally hit the LOA if you didn't run into contact.

The parking on the other hand... The 3-7° slope on everything was fine. The 3-7" deep mud on any parts driven over by more than 3 cars each game not so much.

Shout out to the Amped guys for helping push our car out of a mud rut, pour one out for the plastic underbody splash guard on our last car that the rock near the main entrance to parking ate when the mud didn't let us dodge.

At least the Granville parking is 10/10, I think it may even beat old UBGs parking.
Why does every gun I tech for friends make me go "what the ****?" about every three parts I remove? What are they DOING to these things?
