That only applies to the REAL military. As long as we are playing with glorified toy guns, we need to look cool.

Ok... desert loadout pretty much completed. This is a picture from the GT op yesterday.

    Any thoughts?

condor replica mich 2000 w/ shenanigans
    issue 3 color desert set
ebaybanned RRV w/ MAP in CB
blackhawk dropleg SERPA in CB (so comfortable)
guarder dropleg dump pouch, modified and kryloned

and of course my ridiculously loaded up rifle, m203 was borrowed for the game

    things to do:
-find my BDU belt so i don't have to use my blues belt
-either paint or get a new set of goggles

Not bad, get a pair of ESS goggles, they are great, and a CRANE stock is almost always better than an exposed battery. Get more velcro on that MICH for more style.

I was thinking of getting the ESS turbofans (which should be better than my own ghetto-mounted fan, as you can see in the pic). I just want to check them out in person first, because I'm not sure whether to get the profile or the striker (I hear glasses fit much better under striker, but the closeness of the profile would suit me).

Honestly there's no way I'm going to get crane stock batteries any time soon. Swapping batteries mid-game is extremely easy with the bag, and i can go as high as i want as far as cells and mah go instead of being limited.

And I hope the velcro thing is a joke because I already have wayyyy to much velcro haha.

Well, can't see how much velcro you have. ESS is great, I try to run contacs instead of glasses, but you can get an insert for profiles that has lenses for your glasses in it. The low profile is great and so are the turbofans.

Those look pretty kickass with the glasses insert. I'll have to deal with glasses and goggles for now as I don't do well with contacts. Expensive all together considering the cost of the goggles and lenses for it, but perfect if you need glass to see during a game.

so yeah... that's all the velcro i need :P

I'll be getting contacts in under a year from now, so then i'll get profile turbofans. i'd just hate to get them now, then have to wait to use them for 9 months, then they release a better version
